Almost 70 years ago, Israel was founded as a state. In this lecture the Vice Ambassador of Israel to Sweden, Asaf Segev is visiting UF to discuss the Israeli political system and its history – from ideologies of different political parties to political culture and coalitions, as well as the country’s domestic and international challenges for the future.
Asaf Segev is an Israeli Diplomat and has previously served as Political Advisor at the Embassy of Israel in Moscow. Asaf holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from Hebrew University, Jerusalem. As a student, Asaf was the National Chairman of the Israeli Students Association, representing 250,000 Israeli students to the Israeli Government and Parliament.
This lecture will be held in English.
