A woman among warlords with Malalai Joya

Activist, author, former politician, Malalai Joya, has become a center piece of the struggle for justice in Afghanistan. Malalai is renowned for her work to secure rights for women in Afghanistan and criticism of the occupation of Afghanistan by United States, NATO and the regime they have installed. She has survived numerous attempts on her life as a result of the work she has done. Malalai is an example of true courage. Her courage is the remedy to make a difference in the face of adversity.
The talk will be focusing on the situation of Afghanistan and the situation and the rights of the women in Afghanistan. As well as talking about the effects of the occupation by US and NATO forces.
