Join the Activity Group: Organize Fun, Engaging Events

The Activity Group is all about creating exciting events and social gatherings that bring members together. From quiz nights and fundraisers to study visits, film festivals, language exchanges, election nights, theme parties, workshops, gasques, game evenings, pub crawls, and even biannual member recruitment events like Get Active—the possibilities are endless!

At our meetings, we brainstorm new ideas, plan upcoming events, and start organizing projects. As a proactive group, we often juggle several activities at once, keeping things fresh and engaging. We aim to come up with fun and out-of-the-box events that not only entertain but also spark interest in international relations in a relaxed, social atmosphere.

If you want to join the fun, keep an eye on our social media and the website for the latest updates and event details!

Ideal profile for our team

Become an Activity Trustee

The Uppsala Association of International Affairs recruits Activity Trustees at the start of each operational year (around August/September). As a trustee, you’ll work closely with the Heads of Activity to organize our diverse range of events. This role demands creativity, dedication, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

If you’re ready for an even bigger role, by May each year, UF Uppsala elects the board for the upcoming operational year, and you could become the next Head of Activity!

What We’re Looking for in Trustees

We’re looking for responsible, independent, and passionate individuals with strong organizational and social skills. As a team member, you’ll help brainstorm ideas, plan, coordinate, and execute our events, all while creating a sense of community among our members.

UF Uppsala will provide you with valuable resources to support your projects, and in return, you’ll gain experience in leadership, planning, and coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your social and professional network, create lasting friendships, and gain skills that will serve you well in your future career.

Ready to dive in? Join the Activity Group and be part of something fun and meaningful!
