Come to the next lecture to learn about censorship, silence and persecution of writers in the South East Asian countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka,, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore). 🌏
 
Presented by Bengali-Swedish poet and journalist Anisur Rahman will share his experience of two decades in journalistic and creative writing. ✍🏾
 
Anisur Rahman is a Bengali-Swedish poet and journalist. 📔
 
In addition to journalistic writing, Anisur has authored nearly fifty books on in different literary genres like prose, poetry, plays and translation in various languages. Member in the board of the Swedish Writers’ Union, life member of Bangla Academy, Dhaka, formerely guest writer Anisur is based in Sweden and works for Litteraturcentrum Uppsala. He shares his time also with Dhaka. 🎖️
