Lecture with Tobias Billström – Minister for Foreign Affairs

Foreign Minister Tobias Billström will visit us for a lecture and Q&A session on May 8th, 2023. The Foreign Minister’s lecture will focus on the recently elected government’s ambitions, priorities and goals for Swedish foreign policy, while also touching upon the Swedish EU-Presidency.

Tobias Billström is currently serving as Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs. He was appointed in 2022 by prime minister Ulf Kristersson, and has been a member of the Swedish parliament since 2002. Previously, he served as Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy as well as Minister for Employment in the cabinet of Fredrik Reinfelfdt. He has also served as First Deputy Speaker of the Riksdag between 2014 and 2017.
