Brooks Newmark (University of Oxford, United Kingdom) -Lecturer and Research Associate in International Politics at the University of Oxford. Former Member of the British Parliament 2005-2015, and Minister for Civil Society in the Cabinet Office under Prime Minister David Cameron.
Mr. Newmark is a recognised expert on security affairs and the Middle East. He was actively engaged in conflict resolution with the Syrian president Bashar-al-Assad, Hezzbollah and Hamas between 2006-11 and is currently engaged in discussions with the Free Syrian Army.
