The European Green Deal – What does it mean?

Climate change and its consequences are existential threats to Europe and the world. Annika Wäppling Korzinek will speak about the European Green Deal and its challenges, and about the EU’s drive to see Europe becoming the first climate neutral continent by 2050.

Annika Wäppling Korzinek is Deputy Head of the European Commission Representation in Sweden. Since 2004, she has worked in EU constitutions, focusing on environmental policy, climate change, and sustainable development. She has a degree in Political Science from Uppsala University, and a Master in Environmental Management from London School of Economics.
