UF GASQUE 2016 – THE SWINGING 60'S

Varmt välkommen till UF-gasquen 2016 och The Swinging 60s!

Europa är delat, kriget rasar i Vietnam, vänstern revolterar och studenter överallt gör uppror. Världen står i brand, men mitt i allt detta tar färgerna och musiken över. Beatleshysteri råder och för första gången hörs låtar som Help, Yellow Submarine och Yesterday på radion. Samtidigt tar den psykadeliska rörelsen över med budskapet om flower power och sommaren 1967, även kallad ”The summer of love”, kulminerar allt i en explosion av politik, musik och kärlek.
Under en magisk vårkväll öppnar Utrikespolitiska Föreningen möjligheten för er att få drömma tillbaka till denna spännande tid. Glöm alla bekymmer för en kväll och möt oss i en härlig blandning av god mat, underbar musik och dans.

Evenemanget är öppet för alla (även för den som inte är medlem eller saknar nationskort), men föranmälan krävs. Middagsbiljetter släpps den 7:e mars och kan köpas kontant vid UF:s föreläsningar, den 7:e och 10:e mars. Du kan även köpa din biljett via UF:s plusgiro: 36 50 10-8 eller via swish: 1234 80 38 62. Vid swishbetalning tillkommer en avgift på 2 kr. Welcome to the 2016 UF-gasque and The Swinging 60s!
Europe is a divided continent, war is raging in Vietnam, the left wing movement is revolting and students all over the world are rioting. The world is in flames, but in the middle of everything, music and colour takes over. Beatlemania reigns and for the first time we hear songs as Help, Yellow Submarine and Yesterday on the radio. At the same time the psychedelic movement takes over with a message about flower power and with the summer of 67, also called “The summer of love”, everything culminates in an explosion of politics, music and love.
During a magical spring evening the Association of Foreign Affairs offers you a possibility to visit this exciting time. Leave all your worries at home and join us in a wonderful mixture of tasty food, lovely music and dance.

Note: The event is open for everyone (no membership or nation card required), but it’s only pre-sale. Dinner tickets can be bought from the 7th of March and can be bought with cash at the UF lectures on the 7th and 10th of March.
