More than 5 million people have fled Ukraine since 24 February and even more people are internally displaced. In this lecture, you will get an update on the situation and learn about the response and recommendations of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, who is on the ground in Ukraine and in the neighboring countries. In addition, the lecture will provide a brief overview and insights on the global refugee situation, as Ukraine is only one of multiple displacement crises in the world today.
Lecturer: Elisabeth Arnsdorf Haslund, Head of Communications and External Relations, UNHCR in the Nordic & Baltic Countries.
