Participate in U.S. Embassy Sweden’s 2015 environmental policy case competition.
Deadline: 10th of April
The U.S Embassy Sweden, Utrikespolitiska Institutet and the Stockholm Environment Institute are together asking Utrikespolitiska förbundet’s 13 member associations to participate in U.S. Embassy Sweden’s 2015 environmental policy case competition.
As a member of a UF Uppsala, you can participate in this competition by sending your paper to info@ufuppsala.se. UF Uppsala will commit one paper to the competition, written by two of its members. The paper should answer the following question: ”How should the United States and Sweden work together to facilitate an effective, efficient and equitable climate change agreement at COP21 in Paris?”
The authors of the three best papers will be invited to present their policy recommendations before a jury of experts at a seminar at Utrikespolitiska Institutet on May 12. The Embassy will send the winning team on a trip to Washington, D.C. to learn more about U.S. environmental efforts. The winning paper may also be distributed via one of Utrikespolitiska Institutet’s publication channels.
