Why did you join UF?
I was intrigued by the concept of the lecture committee. The opportunity to meet and hear insights from professionals within foreign affairs was something I had not experienced prior to UF. The UF board also seemed to have a close-knit, family-like atmosphere, with people who shared the same interests as me, which was something that I wanted to be a part of.
What does your role entail?
Together with Gustav and our trustees, I help manage the entire process of organizing lectures. This includes reaching out to potential speakers, booking lecture halls, preparing marketing materials, writing opening speeches, and, of course, ensuring the smooth execution of the lecture itself. It’s an incredibly enjoyable role that requires flexibility, creativity and enthusiasm for connecting with new people.
